My journey began with a passion for design and my high standards led me to becoming a residential and commercial general contractor. During my apprenticeship in Manhattan, I was faced with extensive space restraints thus developing a keen sense for maximizing living and work space. Returning to Arizona in 2003, I began with renovations and additions of mid-century homes. Highly profitable until the housing crash in 2008, I then focused solely on commercial building and tenant improvements. Applying the same standards for design and craftsmanship I learned working with multi-million dollar properties, I recreated affordable high end construction. Both buyers and clients alike continually say the same thing, “my attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, budgeting, and hard work ethic,” have exceeded their expectations.
JSC was formed in 2006 out of frustration for the lack of professionalism and ethic’s in the construction industry. Having a BS in Business and building a national company within a corporate environment, I expected the job to be done when and for how much it was agreed upon. This is not the case, every renovation is unique and if it can go wrong in construction, it will. Using my knowledge and experience can prevent costly unforeseen items that can arise during construction. Extensive renovation experience and my ability to “step outside the box," I can conceptualize a layout to best meet your needs.
Setting myself to a standard of excellence, I welcome those who have high expectations. They say you never work a day when you do what you love, I love to design and build!
